Every year we pull out all of the stops to make your culinary experience during the course proceedings somewhat of event in itself. In lectures you’ll be learning the talk, during breaks and lunches, you’ll be well and truly ‘walking the walk!’
We’re delighted to announce this year our menus will be fully curated by Dr Rupy Aujla from The Doctors Kitchen, working closely with Park Plaza Riverbank Head Chef Werner Seebach.
“This year The Doctor’s Kitchen is taking over the canteen to give you a flavour of what “functional food” can taste like. Blending the UK’s rich diversity with radically seasonal food, the food menus will be reflecting the course content that delegates will be learning during the event. Expect this years AFMCP to feature curries, strifrys and stews from around the globe as well as firm favourites from previous years including the black bean stew in miso sauce and colourful gobi with coconut rice.”

About Rupy and The Doctors Kitchen
Dr Rupy Aujla, MBBS,BSc, MRCGP, is an NHS GP working in Emergency Medicine and completing a masters in Nutritional Medicine.
He is the founder of ‘The Doctor’s Kitchen’, which strives to inspire and educate everybody about the beauty of food and the medicinal effects of eating well.
He creates healthy and delicious recipes using carefully selected ingredients, explaining the clinical research behind them and sharing across his media platforms (Instagram, Podcast, website, YouTube, Facebook). He is a Sunday Times bestselling author, with two cookbooks published by Harper Collins – “The Doctor’s Kitchen” and “Eat to Beat Illness” and often appears on BBC and ITV.
In addition, he is the founding director of Culinary Medicine, a non-profit organisation which aims to teach doctors and medical students the foundations of nutrition, as well as teaching them how to cook.
In his role as clinical adviser to the Royal College of GP’s and more recently being accepted as a fellow on the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme, Dr
Rupy has big aspirations to bring this concept to the profession globally.

We’re proud of the incredible reputation we’ve earned for creating delicious and nutritious menus at previous AFMCP™ and IFM UK events. Since first introduced in 2011, the Food & Drink Awards have become a real highlight of AFMCP™-UK – made especially so, because you get to taste, enjoy and select your favourites from our ‘Food as Medicine’ daily fare to accompany the delicious menus devised by Rupy. These companies will be available to visit in the ‘Food and Beverage Showcase’ area of the Exhibition Hall. These companies change daily so be ready to taste daily!
We know there are countless awards events in the natural & organic products industry, but at AFMCP™-UK winners are exclusively selected by you. All you have to do is try everything provided by the companies during the breaks.
